In Knut Urdalen’s blog, Qiang has posted the release of the alpha version of Prado 3.1. He says, while 3.0 was a major rewrite of the Prado PHP Framework. Version 3.1 is focused on adding new functionality to the framework.
One of the best features of this version is the AJAX enabled web control called active controls. This enables you to write AJAX-based user interfaces being abstracted from all the details behind the scene. Other features of Prado 3.1 include three layers of databases access including PDO-based data access, active record and SQLMap and two new web service wrappers – SOAP and JSON.
