Pierre-Alain Joye has posted a small notice in his blog about a new zip release. This version is called zip 1.8.9. For the uninitiated, zip is an extension to create, modify and read zip files.
He also informs that a possible crash has been fixed. It happened when the directory where the archive is extracted was not getting created.
