A common request for PEAR is to use SVN instead of CVS for source code management. Joshua Eichorn says that the PEAR team is implementing this suggestion for the PEAR2 project. An SVN repo is now ready for testing:

Although the team is still working out the naming conventions and the rules for getting code into PEAR2, SVN access will be widely available shortly.
