In a new post on his blog, Evert Pot has posted what he hopes will be the last version of the specification for PHP RPC. "[…] unless somebody has some great feedback with stuff I overlooked. It might need some clarification and better writing here and there, but I think the general idea is there".
The latest version adds support for multi-calls, while the api for the server class works exactly the same as before. “I also added a client class, which is helpful when you surpass the prototyping phase and you need a more decent way to interact with the service,” says Pot.
The source can be downloaded from here. The code to a subversion repository has also been added in this update. For more information on the updated proposal and the specific changes, read the full post.
