ASP.NET Scores Over PHP, RoR in Number of Jobs

Tim Boland spent 30 minutes researching into the jobs out there for RoR compared to Asp.NET and PHP. He searched for the phrases “Ruby on Rails”, “PHP”, “ASP.NET” in Cincinnati Ohio (Midwest), New York City (East Coast) and San Francisco (West Coast) on job portals Monster.com, Career Builder and Hot Jobs. While there may be an overlap of job postings, the number of posts on ASP.NET were almost four times that for PHP. The findings have made him decide to stick to ASP.NET and wait for RoR to move ahead of its incubatory status. Tim's post has evoked a lot of response; you can read them here.
