Martin Jansen, election secretary PEAR, recently announced that the election of members for PEAR Group 2008-2009 would start from June 1, 2008. Arbitrary PHP developers, irrespective of their connection with PEAR, can apply for a seat in the group.

The nomination phase for a seat in the PEAR Group has started already and ends midnight May 31, 2008. Martin Jansen is collecting this year’s PEAR GROUP nominations. Once on the list of candidates, nominees would be informed via a confirmation mail. After a short registration with PEAR, one can start the vote process here.
